Overall, it is not recommended for those who want the typical car-building experience. You’ll need tons of patience to even get through building one part of the car, and that would sometimes take hours or days to finish. Keep in mind that even though My Summer Car looks fun, it is not for the faint-hearted.
It simulates real-life situations and you need to build everything from scratch with all the bolts and screws which means it is very time-consuming and stressful. This isn’t your typical car-building game where you search for parts and just slap them on. It is very meticulous and demanding most of the time. However, there are hundreds of things to do in this game and that’s not an exaggeration. If that happens, you’ll lose your progress and restart everything. If any of these problems are ignored for too long, it will result in permadeath. Your character is handled like a real person, you need to take care of your basic needs including eating, drinking, sleeping, de-stressing, hygiene, and using the restroom. Keep in mind that you should take care of yourself as well. Once you get the hang of it, you can do anything you want to it, and use it for whatever activity you have in mind. The game is very meticulous when it comes to its approach to car building as well. In My Summer Car, it all begins with you having to put together a car and an engine from scratch, both from hundreds of individual pieces.
